On Friday 23rd October, Drip Drop Theatre presents "Close Knit", a musical by E.C.R Roberts.
After Charlie beats hundreds of applicants for a chance to work alongside famous Arctic artist Otto Boberg, he and his girlfriend Sophie travel
north of the Arctic Circle to live on the remote Norwegian island of Skogeuken for ten months.
Before long, Sophie becomes enmeshed with Norwegian tales and legends and begins to develop an obsession with the nation's favourite pastime, knitting. As the midnight sun gives way to the polar night, elements of Charlie's and Sophie's lives begin to unravel. Then, in the depths of the bitter cold and dark of winter, events take an unexpected turn.
A feel-good musical with fifteen new original songs, live acoustic band, Arctic art, handmade knitwear, on-stage knitting, and even a possible glimpse of Skogeuken's troll who resides somewhere deep in the woods.
Tickets are £13 for adults aged 26 years and older and £11 for adults aged 25 and under and children.
