On Friday 22nd March, Frazer Theatre Music presents Shadowing Hank. Tickets are £14 (Booking Fee applies). Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm.
Following years of playing alongside members of The Shadows themselves, including Bruce Welch, Jet Harris, and Brian ‘Licorice’ Locking, renowned guitarist Justin Daish comes to Knaresborough with his acclaimed Hank Marvin extravaganza.
Presented with a sparkling production, Shadowing Hank is setting new standards on the small show circuit. Justin’s visual similarity to Hank Marvin is not the only likeness in this show; his famously accurate guitar sound and playing style have gained him worldwide recognition amongst The Shadows’ fan community.
Featuring The Shadows’ greatest hits, including ‘Apache’, ‘Wonderful Land’, ‘Foot Tapper’ and ‘Cavatina’, plus music that Hank Marvin has recorded and performed over a record-breaking 65-year career – not to mention the relaxed humour and polished vocals – this remarkable night of entertainment truly captures the magic of the great man’s live shows.
Shadowing Hank certainly has a claim to the title ‘biggest small show in the world’. Come and see why, and join us in this celebration of the music of one of the UK’s greatest-ever guitarists.
