From 24th to 26th October, the Frazer Theatre welcomes Drip Drop Theatre Company with their production of a new musical about the Eurovision Song Contest written by E.C.R Roberts.
Andy has been a lifelong fan of the Eurovision Song Contest. Born on the night of the contest in 1975, he has followed it since he could stay up late enough to watch the voting. His friend Nicky has also harboured a passion for the contest since his babyhood. Travelling to the contest each year, they are fully immersed in every aspect of it, from the conventions and cruises to the blogs, odds and all night events.
Following the 2019 contest and another last place for the UK, Andy and Nicky dare to dream that they can restore order to the UK’s Eurovision reputation. What begins as an idea winds up as a full on Eurovision adventure. Can the two of them change the fortune of the UK for the better whilst juggling work, relationships, irritating interviewers and crazy fans?
