On Friday 7th December The Frazer Theatre Comedy Club finishes off another year of comedy with one more stunner of a show. Four of our favourite acts of all time come together on one bill for the first time anywhere! It’s the best way to start enjoying some festive cheer!
As always, tickets remain at £10 in advance and are available from the Old Chemist Shop, Market Place, Knaresborough, by calling 07835 927965 or from our online box office by clicking the Buy Tickets button. Any remaining tickets will be available for £12 on the door.
Doors open at 7:30pm, show starts at 8pm.
The full line-up includes:
One of the country’s finest proponents of “anti-comedy”, Ed Aczel is a stunningly unique voice on the circuit, revered by no-less a talent than Jimmy Carr as being among the most hilarious around. If Ed’s comedy looks like it being performed by a shambling project manager from Aylesbury, well, that’s because it is, but in a remarkable alchemy that only true genius can achieve, the laughter comes quick and often, seemingly to Ed’s bemusement. This is one act you really have to see to believe!
Danny makes a welcome return to the Frazer with another selection of his delightfully silly musings on life. Never seen without his trademark duffle coat, Danny is one of the most crowd-pleasing acts on the circuit, playfully whimsical and brilliantly daft in all the right ways. You never know what’s going to come out his mouth next… maybe even he doesn’t?
For some people, getting married causes them to grow up and take a more mature outlook on life. Fortunately, this is not the case for Edy, who despite recently getting hitched, still displays the same blend of madcap jokes presented in the coolest of deadpan. It’s always a real treat to have Edy with us, and he’s bound to bring the house down once again.
No stranger to the Frazer Theatre, the ever-popular Harriet returns as MC for the evening. If you seen her before, she needs no introduction and if she’s new to you, the only way to explain is to see her in person! There’s never a dull moment with Harriet around, and the laughs come fast and furious!
