On Saturday 23rd July, the Frazer Theatre Comedy Club’s Edinburgh Preview Season continues with two work-in-progress shows that are a bit different from the traditional stand up show from Edy Hurst and Peter Fleming (aka Tom Burgess).

You can see both shows for just £10.

Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm.

Edy Hurst’s Comedy Version of Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of H.G. Well’s Literary Version (Via Orson Welles’ Radio Version) of ‘The War of the Worlds’
If you’re not onboard from the title we don’t know how this will convince you!

As seen on MTV UK, Radio 4 Extra. Nominated for the BBC NCA 2017

**** ‘Bursts with Comedic Joy’ – The Skinny
**** ‘Funny. Quirky, Deep. Seamless’ – The Lancashire Post
‘Gloriously Silly Musical Comedy’ – The Wee Review

Peter Fleming’s Woefully Inaccurate History of the BBC
Warped telly nostalgia from award-winning character comedian Tom Burgess. Mark the BBC’s centenary in style with the befuddled children’s TV pioneer. Peter re-enacts classic clips from the archive, sets the record crooked and reveals shocking truths about Blue Peter, which we can’t put down in writing or we’ll get sued.

As seen on BBC Two and heard on Radio 4 Extra.

‘A daft, well-observed show’ – The Sunday Times
‘Wonderfully silly’ – Chortle
‘Like a lost Fast Show character’ – BeyondTheJoke.co.uk
**** – Stewart Lee, My Cultural Year 2019
Best Debut Show – Leicester Comedy Festival 2018
