NOTICE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING OF THE KNARESBOROUGH PLAYERS:
Dear Member,
At the AGM of The Knaresborough Players held on 27 May 2010 a vote was taken in favour of holding an extraordinary general meeting of all current members of the Society on Wednesday, 16th June 2010. The sole function of the meeting will be to allow all members an opportunity to vote in the election of two officers of the Society, and also to select Committee members from a list of candidates available.
Members may arrive at The Frazer Theatre from 7.30pm to register their ballots. Ballot papers will be provided and will be placed in a sealed box until 9.30pm when the ballot will close. A count will take place at 9.30pm when the results will be announced and the membership, of course, subsequently informed. Members can arrive and depart at any time between 7.30pm – 9.30pm to register their votes. Refreshments will be available throughout the voting period for those wishing to stay for the results.
A further vote was taken at the AGM rejecting the opportunity for proxy voting. Therefore, all members wishing to express preferences must attend in person to vote.
